Canary Oncoceutics stands with you and your doctors to deliver optimal decisions to treat your cancer using personalized genomic testing

Testing Process
Consult your doctor/physician to determine if you are a suitable candidate for Canary’s tests.
Doctor/Physician will start the paper work to begin the process.
Your sample will be collected from the pathology lab and then it will be sent to our sequencing lab.
The sequencing lab will extract the DNA and conduct next-generation sequencing to assess the genomic sequence of your sample.
Once your genomic sequence is ready, it will undergo Canary’s Proprietary Analytic Pipeline as per your doctor’s selected test plan to identify specific DNA alterations linked to cancer.
Canary’s Proprietary Analytic Pipeline generates an in-depth comprehensive, personalized diagnostic report that contains details of genetic alterations and associated tailored therapies potentially leading to better treatment options for you.
Immediately upon completion, this personalized report is sent to your physician.
This entire process takes 14 days.
Understanding How Genes Affect Cancer
Human bodies are intricate systems composed of trillions of cells, each containing DNA, the fundamental genetic material. DNA is organized into genes, which serve as the instruction manual for our bodies’ functions, influencing growth, development, metabolism, and reproduction. Each human possesses approximately 20,000 genes, each with a specific role to play. Among these genes are tumor suppressor genes. Tumor suppressor genes normally function to regulate cell growth, repair DNA damage, and promote apoptosis (programmed cell death). Mutations that inactivate tumor suppressor genes can result in loss of these regulatory functions, allowing cells to evade growth controls and survive despite genetic damage. This can significantly increase the risk of cancer development. On the other hand, oncogenes are mutated forms of normal genes (proto-oncogenes) that promote cell growth and division. When activated by mutations, oncogenes can drive excessive cell proliferation, leading to tumor formation.
Information for Patients and Individuals
Canary's Personalized Cancer Plan starts here
Using the highest quality test available can make all the difference between having information that can help you or not being sure that the results are meaningful.
Our Mission: testing quality, patient care, and patient safety
The genetic tests we and other commercial entities offer are very complex to perform. Small errors can lead to bad information. Because of this, we have deeply focused on quality. Our solid tumor tests are CLIA-Certified and CAP-Accredited to the highest standards. When we provide a report about our findings to your physician, we are proud and confident in the accuracy of that information. That is why physicians are choosing Canary.
Patient care is at the core of what we do
Our advanced molecular diagnostic tests analyze your DNA to deeply understand your cancer at the molecular level. This comprehensive information can assist your oncologist in better understanding the origins of cellular abnormalities and in determining the most effective treatments for you.
